Old Age Home

We provide our residents with shelter, good food, clothing, medication, entertainment and 24 hour care. Our resident Social Worker provides mental, emotional and physical stimulation for the residents by arranging outings, concerts, sing-a-longs, bingo, hospital visits, occupational therapy and transport to nearby shops. She also assists with the administration of pensions and banking, if necessary.

On the property we have a hairdressing salon, tuck shop, church and library for the resident’s use. A chiropodist and physiotherapist visit weekly and a doctor volunteers his time once a week to attend to sick residents. Nazareth House is more than “home” to these residents, it is a place of peace and enjoyment, safety and hope.

Larmenier Village is a “Life-Rights” scheme that gives retirees the opportunity to own their own flat in the Nazareth House estate. There are 27 units, ranging from spacious bachelor flats to large two bedroomed simplexes. These are for those people who enjoy independent living, but are looking for comfort and security in an environment that only the Sisters of Nazareth can offer.  Call us for more information.
